Terms & Conditions Full payment must be received before we are able to confirm your booking, once we have received your booking it forms a binding contract between us. Terms of agreement:
If for any reason we are not able to honour your booking through circumstances beyond our control and we need to make a cancellation, we will refund your payment in full or we can change your booking to a mutually agreeable alternative date.
If you cannot complete your stay or booking for any reason other than outlined above, no refunds will be given. This includes inclement weather and us asking you to leave due to anti-social behaviour (e.g. excessive noise or being abusive to other customers or staff).
We cannot accept any responsibility for loss of or damage to goods or injury or death to persons, to the extent that such liability can be lawfully excluded. Vehicles, bicycles, boats, canoes and any other vehicle, (motorised or not) together with their contents and any accessories are left at your own risk. We take reasonable precautions to avoid such incidents and we expect you to do the same.
We reserve the right to refuse groups. We are a quiet site and not suited to hen parties or stag do’s. Groups of 6 or more adults MUST book via the office on 01603 722775. Failure to do so may mean you are refused from site with no refund.
Facilities and amenities may be altered or withdrawn if circumstances beyond our control dictate this (e.g. changes to Health and Safety rules, excessive rainfall, lack of rainfall etc)
If the number of people for your booking changes, please inform us prior to the booking date, we will aim to accommodate you, but cannot guarantee it.
Our site safety must be followed at all times, for your own safety and other users of Salhouse Broad, if a Ranger on Duty asks you to comply with our site safety (e.g. putting a dog on a lead, not lighting a fire because it’s too dry etc) you must comply or expect to be asked to leave the site.
In the event of a complaint, please notify the Ranger on Duty (07795 145475) so this can be resolved at the time. It is much harder to resolve a problem after the event and we cannot be held liable for this.
We love dogs at Salhouse Broad and we don’t mind dogs being let off their lead (if they can be trusted!) All dog mess must be cleared up and put in the nearest designated bin. If a Ranger asks you to put your dog on a lead, you must comply.
COVID policy. If you have tested positive or have been told to isolate, please contact us with proof and we will do our best to move your booking to another date in 2021. For any compensation, please refer to your travel insurance.
Bookings are non transferable.
Full payment is taken at the time of booking and if cancelled 15 days or more before the arrival date, 80% of the amount paid will be refunded.
For any cancellations made less than 14 days and more than 7 days before the arrival date 50% of the amount paid will be refunded.
For any cancellations 7 days or less of the arrival date, no refund will be made.
Deposits are non-refundable.
Refunds are not made for inclement weather.
Holding deposits or deposits paid via 3rd party websites are non refundable.
