Hunter's Yard - Ludham
For a traditional Broads experience, Hunter's really is the place to go. With no engines in sight, you can't get a boat with less impact on the environment.
Broads Tours - Wroxham
Broads Tours & NBD (see below) really care about their environmental impact and have been working hard on establishing the Green Boat Mark. Take one of their river trips or hire a day boat.
Norfolk Broads Direct - Wroxham
Developing their fleet for luxury & functionality, you won't be disappointed with the range of cruisers on offer here.
Fineway Leisure - Hoveton
A family run business offering immaculately kept day boats with electric boats also available.
Richardsons - Stalham
Offering a range of hire cruisers to suit all customers, and the largest fleet on the Broads from this family run company.
Bank Boats - Wayford Bridge
The largest fleet of canoes on the Broads, with plenty of places to explore from this centre - I would recommend paddling up Dilham Canal for some peace, quiet and wildlife. This family set up also offer day boats, cottage accomodation and have an onsite canoe shop.
Waveney River Centre - Burgh St Peter
Boats, canoes, camping, holiday lodges, river trips: there's a bit of everything going on here on the South Side.
The Broads Canoe Hire Association
The Association was set up to bring businesses together, offering canoe hire on the Broads. With a focus on safety and enjoyment through exploration, have a look on the website to choose where you would like to paddle.
The Kings Head, Coltishall
One of the best places to eat on the Broads. Moor up for free at Coltishall Common.
Fur & Feather - Woodbastwick
Restauranty pub serving grub, and of course the full selection of Woodforde's ales. Nice garden in front for those sunny days.
The Bell Inn, Salhouse
Our village local! Now under new ownership, with good real ale. Serving food from 12-2 & 6-8 every day except Sunday evenings. They also offer a pick up/drop off service - just give them a ring on 01603 720220.
